What we've been doing in class
This half term we have been extremely busy! We worked so hard learning lines, singing songs and practicing dances but it was all worth while because our Christmas Play was fantastic!!!
In D&T we have been designing, making and testing a chair for baby bear. We loved finding out which shape is the strongest and learning how to join parts to make a structure.
The children have settled nicely in to year 2. They are learning lots and enjoying the lessons. They have marched for women's right to vote, developed their drawing skills, learned about the International Space Station and much more! In English, the children have loved reading and writing about 'The Lion Inside' by Rachel Bright and Jim Field - ask them to tell you all about it.
