Mother's Day
In October, the children enjoyed planting some bulbs outside. We discussed the different things that plants need to help them grow big and strong: sunlight, water and soil.
We have enjoyed looking after our bulbs and predicting what might happen to them. Although tulips were supposed to grow, they just weren't ready for Mother's Day. But with a little help from our magic fairy dust, we helped our flowers to grow just in time to give them to our lovely mummies.
The children have enjoyed talking about their mummies on the run up to Mother's Day. We have spoken about what makes our mummies special and what we love the most about them.
