When We Grow Up

This half term in Reception, we have been doing lots of learning around our topic 'People who help us'. One of our core stories we enjoyed listening to was, 'When We Grow Up' by Melanie Walsh.
We had lots of fun looking at the pictures and listening to all the different jobs we could do when we are older. After listening to the story, we had a class discussion about what we want to be when we grow up. We discovered that lots of us want to be future astronauts, teachers, footballers and paramedics!
We then drew a picture and wrote a sentence about what we want to be when we grow up. We were all very proud of the work we produced!
