What we've been doing in class
A fantastic day of crafts and activities whilst learning all about China!
Some fantastic projects about the Romans made by the children. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the work that you have completed.
We had a fantastic time on our school trip. We marched through Chester like Roman soldiers and visited some Roman landmarks such as the Roman gardens and amphitheatre. After lunch we went around the museum and learnt lots of facts and information about Romans! It was a very fun and informative day!
We had a fantastic day celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee! We especially enjoyed the picnic on the field!
Today we had a debate in class about whether we are for or against zoos. We will be using the ideas and information we have collected to write a balanced argument about zoos. Do you think we should have zoos or not?
We have been performing playscripts as a class and have enjoyed getting into various roles. We have some fantastic actors in our class!
Christmas jumper day and the Christmas experience
We have been really busy in class since the start of term and the children have settled in really well. Thanks for supporting them with having the correct equipment in school every day - especially their swimming kits on Wednesday. The children's independence is developing fantastically and they have got to grips with all the new routines of KS2 very quickly.
Happy children on party day!
We will remember them .....
Egyptian homework projects
Science - We have been finding out more about friction this week.
Maths work
Today we have been busy working on a very special art project, which we will be able to share with you in more detail soon. I've been very impressed with the children's creative skills and they were fantastic at helping each other too.
