5CK had the most wonderful day out at RHS Bridgewater. We are so lucky to have this gorgeous place to visit right on our doorstep.

Maths
In maths we used rulers, tape measures, metre sticks and trundle wheels to measure the length and width of shapes around school. Once measured, we worked out the area and perimeter. It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of learning.

Remembrance Day
Today we placed poppies we had made around a tree in our school grounds. We also had a special assembly on Google Classrooms and listened to Miss Lea play The Last Post on her flugelhorn.

We have been enjoying gymnastics in PE. We are working on controlling movement and putting sequences of moves together.

Long Multiplication
Today in Year 5 we have been learning how to do long multiplication. It was hard work, but we got there with the help of our friend Bob! Ask us and we'll show you at home and introduce Bob to you too!
Quidditch
We had great fun when sports coaches came into school and we learnt how to play quidditch.
