Sunday Times Top 500 Schools-22nd November 2020
St Andrew's appeared in the Sunday Times top 600 schools for attainment from 2019 tests. St Andrew's were 322nd out of nearly 21,000 schools nationwide.
We are proud to be the first school in Salford to participate in The Linking Schools Project. Year 3 are working together with Cheadle Heath Primary School, Stockport. The classes meet each other 3 times over the course of the year and take part in fun filled activities that promote community, champion equality, celebrate diversity and explore identity.
Global Neighbours Award 2019
St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School in Boothstown, Worsley has achieved Bronze Award status in Christian Aid’s Global Neighbours Scheme in recognition of its wide ranging steps to love their global neighbour.
M&S Energy Fund-November 2017. St Andrew’s was awarded £12,000 from the M&S Energy Fund Competition. This has been used to upgrade the lighting in school to energy efficient LEDs. This type of lighting has also been proven to aid children’s learning.
Top 250 State Primary Schools-20th November 2016 – The Sunday Times published an article identifying the top 250 State Primary Schools in England based on the achievement of Level 5s over the last 3 years – St. Andrew’s C of E Primary School came 206th. There are approximately 24,000 schools in England. We are justly proud of this achievement.
Top 200 State Primary Schools-15th November 2015 – The Sunday Times published an article identifying the top 200 State Primary Schools in England – St. Andrew’s C of E Primary School came 111th.

Co-operative Bank-30th December 2013– St Andrew’s CE Primary received the sports kit as part of The Co-operative’s commitment to encouraging more children to get involved in sport and enjoy active and healthier lifestyles in their local communities.
BBC Newsround- 21st November 2013– Some of our pupils appeared on Newsround and talk to one of their reporters about the Step Up To Serve initiative which is being driven by HRH Prince Charles.
