World Book Day
We had so much fun on World Book Day this year! We enjoyed dressing up as characters from our favourite stories and celebrating the joy books can bring.
We started the day off by each coming to the front of the class and telling our friends which story character we were. We saw Zog, Glinda, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan and Numberblock One to name a few! We then went on a reading adventure to Year 4, where the Year 4 children read to us a storybook. We really enjoyed listening to the Year 4 children read us a story, they were brilliant storytellers!
To finish off the day, we then went to the school library to choose a new storybook to read at home with our parents and carers to share our love of reading at home.
