Diwali
DIWALI
We have been learning all about Diwali, which is the festival of light. We have drawn and painted rangoli patterns and made our own patterns outside using powder paints. We had mendhi henna tattoos painted on our hands, we've dressed up in traditional Indian clothes and have made our very own clay diva lamps to take home. We even took part in an Indian dance workshop which was great fun.
We also learnt about Holi which is the festival of colour. We celebrated this by throwing powder paint making each other very colourful.
