DIWALI
Diwali
We have been learning about Diwali, the festival of light. We made rangoli patterns using powder paints, had henna mendhi patterns on our hands, played with coloured rice, dressed up in traditional clothing and made clay glitter diva lamps to take home.
We were so lucky to have Laura come in to school and do an Indian dance workshop with us.

We also learnt about 'Holi', the festival of colour. We went outside and expressed our happiness by throwing coloured powder paint. It was super fun!
