Boothstown Playgroup is a small, friendly and very happy playgroup, with an extremely warm and welcoming team of qualified staff who work together to produce a variety of colourful and challenging activities for all the children.

Our aim is to provide high quality care for children aged 2-3 years of age and ensure each child’s time is enjoyable and stimulating.

We offer a play based learning environment in accordance with current Early Years foundation stage guidance. We provide a well planned and resourced environment to take learning forward and provide opportunities for all children to succeed, making them feel valued and cared for.

Children are encouraged to participate in activities indoors and outdoors which foster all areas of their development.

Our pre-school recognises that learning through play is the best way to integrate and facilitate all aspects of a child’s learning. Children deepen their understanding by playing, talking, observing, planning and questioning.

Our key worker system is tailored to meet the needs of each individual child with a carefully planned and organised environment to maximise learning opportunities.

The opening times are Monday to Friday 9.00 am -12.00 am and 12.25 pm -3.25pm term time only.

We had a visit from Ofsted in March 2012 and are now Ofsted registered.
