This term, Reception have been Mad about minibeasts! The children used magnifying glasses and binoculars to see what minibeasts and creatures they could find outdoors!
Reception had an amazing time during their DRUHM lesson. They got to dance and sing to the music whilst keeping the beat with their drumsticks!
World Book Day!
Reception have been talking about what they would like to be when they grow up. They enjoyed reading the book 'When we grow up' and dressing up as doctors, vets, firefighters and superheroes!
This spring, our children had a fantastic time bringing their RE lessons to life! They listened to the Hindu story of 'Rama and Sita' and enjoyed reenacting it together. They also got hands-on by building their very own 'Sukkah' while learning about the Jewish festival of 'Sukkot'.
Nativity time! RC performed Baarmy Bethlemhem beautifully.
RC had a wonderful time creating Christingles with Mrs Owen. They made them to remember and celebrate the light that Jesus brings to the world. Together they lit their candles and sang a song. Thank you, Mrs Owen and thank you to all the parents and grandparents that came to help.
The children walked to the post office to send their special letters to Santa Claus It was very exciting - Santa even sent replies from the North Pole!
The dingle dangle scarecrow was a hit this week!
RS have loved making disgusting sandwiches this week! They had mouldy mayonnaise, sand, pigeon feathers and slimy slugs on! Disgusting!
