Book Bag and Folder
Please place your child's completed homework, reading record and reading book / material in their clear folder. You may also wish to put in any party invitations or notes.
Please try to empty your child's folder as often as possible and keep any belongings that are not needed for school at home.
Homework and Reading
Homework will be set every Friday and needs to be returned the following Friday. Once your child's homework is completed, please place it into the clear folder that your child has been provided with.
After the October half-term, your child will receive some form of reading material for the week. Please try to encourage your child to read each day and sign or write within their reading record.
Library Book
Reception's library day is Thursday.
Every Thursday afternoon, the children will go to the school's library and will independently choose a library book.
Unfortunately, if your child does not return their library book on a Thursday, they will be unable to choose a new one.
If you are unsure which library book your child has, look for the Abracadabra.net barcode on the back of the book or your child's teacher can find out the name of the book.
If your child's library book has been lost or damaged, then we will ask for £5 so we can replace the book.
PE
Reception's PE day is Friday.
We get changed into our pumps for PE. Their pump remains in school all year. Please ensure your child's name is written on the pumps.
